Appraisals are offered by Robert Wilson, the owner, in two forms:

• Verbal Appraisal: Mr. Wilson will examine your instrument and/or bow, and give you a brief but professional assessment of the instrument and its potential value. This costs $10, and no appointment is necessary but please call head to make sure that Mr. Wilson will be in when you visit.
  
• Written Appraisals: more in-depth, include an official document of appraisal. These start at $50, depending on the amount of research, travel, and work required. The instrument or bow will typically need to be left with the shop for inspection and research.
